It is amazing the ways technology is changing how we tell stories. While I have mainly focused on adult trade fiction and its migration to e-readers, that change is miniscule compared to the innovations being made in children’s books. Changes in adult fiction primarily involve cutting out a trip to the bookstore and no one knowing if you are reading Waldon Pond or the latest bodice-ripper romance. Children’s books are undergoing a much larger shift in what content is offered and how readers like Sweetpea are interacting with them.
Here’s another TED convention video, this time from Joe Sabia. It is much shorter than the last video I shared, less than four minutes.
