Designing to Save Newspapers

The only thing more obsolete than a paperback book to many people is a newspaper. Half a day out of date when you read it, no updates available, and in a unweildly and environmentally unfriendly format, newspapers are the best example of a publishing dinosaur. Is there anything that can be done to save what was once a Sunday morning tradition?

Jacek Utko is a Polish newspaper designer, and he’s really good at his job. So good at it, in fact, that he has caused sales to increase for an increasingly obsolete product.
