Saturday Music Playlist

Music is a huge part of my creative process, whether it is grooving in the car thinking up new ideas or playing the same songs over and over to catch a mood for a particular scene. Sometimes I obsess on a song for weeks at a time. With time being such a precious commodity, music shortcuts the time for me to get in “the writing zone.”

I’ll be updating my playlist on Saturdays.

Obsessing on “Before I Ever Met You” by Banks
Listening to “Wild” by Royal Teeth
“Change” by Churchill is on my playlist
Also listening to “Champion” by The Chevin
Just added “Breakers” by Local Natives to my playlist

Here are some songs that have been getting me through my writing sessions this week. I’m hoping to have more to share with everyone soon.

Songs I’m obsessed with (literally, on single-song repeat sometimes):

The One and Only – Chesney Hawkes
Hold On When You Get Love – Stars
    Into the Wild – LP
    Mirrors – Justin Timberlake
    Glory Days – Bruce Springsteen
Scar the Never Heals – Jeremy Fisher

    Thanks for the recommendations! :)
