Saturday Sunshine Music Playlist

Music is a huge part of my creative process, whether it is grooving in the car thinking up new ideas or playing the same songs over and over to catch a mood for a particular scene. Sometimes I obsess on a song for weeks at a time. With time being such a precious commodity, music shortcuts the time for me to get in “the writing zone.”

I’ll be updating my playlist on Saturdays.

June 01, 2013

Obsessing on “Anna Sun” by Walk the Moon
“Sun” by Two Door Cinema Club is on my playlist
Listening to “Steal My Sunshine” by Len (yeah, what a flashback to my school days)
Also loving “Sunshine” by Little Dragon
Enjoying “Soil to the Sun” by Cage the Elephant

Gonna be a great weekend in the South. Before I get back to my writing, which takes place on a dark and stormy night, I’ll be grooving to some summertime, sunshiny tunes.

Steal My Sunshine!!! Wow. Just brilliant to be reminded of this song – years later… A classic tune :-)
